Warehouse & 3PL Glossary

Case Picking

Case picking is an order-fulfillment method where full cases or cartons of a product — rather than individual units — are selected from storage to fill an order. It's common in wholesale and distribution, where customers order in case quantities.

In the warehouse: Teamship's WMS puts Case Picking to work as part of Picking & Packing.
